🌿 When a Day Feels Like Too Much
Sometimes even taking things day by day can feel overwhelming.
On those days, it can help to come back to something smaller.
If a day feels like too much — take it hour by hour.
If an hour feels like too much — take it minute by minute.
And if even that feels like too much — come back to one breath at a time.
When the nervous system is overwhelmed or dysregulated, the goal isn’t to push through or do more. It’s to create small moments of pause and steadiness.
Even something as simple as slowing down your out-breath can help signal to the body that it’s safe, gently activating the part of the nervous system that supports rest and regulation.
