My #FeatureStory - Why Sell Collectables Online Exists
(I just realised I put this in the wrong place, so here it is again!)
Go back. Go, way, way, back. To 1998.
A new website called eBay has just gone live. A very short time later I, a lifelong stamp collector, decided to start selling my duplicates online to make a few bucks. That's almost 30 years ago, and since then I've learnt every trick in the book to maximise sales and profit. I'm now a professional stamp dealer and I only deal online. No fairs, no exhibitions, no bricks and mortar.
My health has been what you'd generously call "challenging" of late, and it occurred to me that I have a wealth of knowledge about online selling that I can share in a practical way. Most eBay sellers make little or no money not because of a lack of knowledge of stamps, but the lack of knowledge of the best way to maximise return.
That's why I started my community https://www.skool.com/selling-stamps-online-2123, although the community is called Sell Collectables Online, as the skills are transferable.
I offer practical strategies to improve business today, not tomorrow, and turn online trading back to being fun.
