My dad gave me this when I was a kid. 🪙
Every time I said “I’ll do it when I get around to it” he’d reach in his pocket and hand me one of these.
A round toit.
Took me years to stop laughing and actually get the lesson.
Here’s the thing, though. I talk to bakers every day who are sitting on “when I get around to it.”
“I’ll learn sourdough when I have more time.”
“I’ll start baking bread when life slows down.”
“I’ll join a community when I’m not such a beginner.”
Life doesn’t slow down. You just run out of rounds.
