Over the years, I've had incredible ideas. Book ideas, poems, songs. This year I'm tackling a musical.
The problem? I find it hard to show up for my writing. I'm stuck in perfection paralysis loops, I'm afraid that a messy first draft proves that I am no good. I get distracted and lose momentum.
I want to write, and I want to finish what I start. But I find it hard to keep going.
This is why I started my Skool group, a gentle accountability group for creative writers who struggle with consistency and confidence.
Goal setting, reflective prompts and weekly writing sprints are at the heart of this community. It's not easy to show up sometimes, but every word counts. And you don't have to do this alone, because I'm figuring it out right along with you.
Starting February, we will be hosting a community Zine that members can contribute to, with each month a new theme. These will be published at the end of each month.
Messy is wonderful, as long as you show up.
