Over the years, I've had incredible ideas. Book ideas, poems, songs. This year I'm tackling a musical. The problem? I find it hard to show up for my writing. I'm stuck in perfection paralysis loops, I'm afraid that a messy first draft proves that I am no good. I get distracted and lose momentum. I want to write, and I want to finish what I start. But I find it hard to keep going.
