I Thought I'd Never Run Again
I thought running was over for me.
At 53, my joints ached constantly. My legs were in pain more often than not.
I was very overweight, had extremely low energy, and… felt like crap.
Running used to be my outlet in my 30s — something I loved.
But I got hurt. Stopped. And told myself, “Well, I guess that part of my life’s done.”
But I was wrong.
Strength training changed everything.
With the Sweatsphere system, I started slow. Built consistency. Focused on getting strong, not just getting “fit.”
Over time, I lost 45 lbs, my legs got stronger, and for the first time in years — I was able to start running again.
Now? I run every other day. Pain-free. Strong. Happy.
And each run feels like I got a little piece of myself back.
If you’ve ever thought it was “too late” — it’s not.
You just need the right approach.
This is just one of the many benefits strength training gave me.
And it just keeps getting better.
