Last week, I went to the library, and that kind of prompted this question. π
Where do you usually buy your books from? Do you like to buy them online, or in a store? Or do you prefer to borrow them from the library, or a mixture of all of those things?
I hadnβt been to the library in ages, and we went to our local one, because I wanted to sign up, so that I could borrow digital books online.
I actually had to get a new library card, because I wasnβt on their system anymore due to the fact that Iβd got the library card nearly 20 years ago! π€£
I usually buy e-books, because itβs easier to hold with the osteoarthritis and I have a Kindle, which means Iβm kind of tied to Amazon at the moment. But I have just switched to a Kobo e-reader, which Iβll be able to use to read digital library books.
These are exactly the kinds of conversations weβve been having in the Cosy Living Community. Everyday chats about the things that make life more enjoyable, from books and reading to all things cosy living. Itβs a lovely, friendly space and Iβd love to see you there! πΈ
And here are a couple of photos of the library, because it is a beautiful old building and has a really cool fact about it, it used to be a school and Charles Darwin went there. β¬οΈ
