A thought I keep coming back to lately...
I talk to a lot of salespeople in Direct Sales Mastery, and almost everyone says the same thing when their pipeline dries up. "I just need to send more messages." But every time I actually watch someone turn it around, it's never because they cold messaged harder. It's because they started just... talking to people. Commenting, replying, being useful in random threads, without an agenda.
By the time they ask for a call, it doesn't even feel like a pitch anymore.
Kind of ironic that the "network less, connect more" approach works better than actual networking π
Anyone else notice this? I love seeing how people here build relationships before they ever try to sell anything. What's actually working for you?
