Proofreader Prompt - The Dreaded Editor
I have been having a discussion with Sylvia about increasing the amount of data ChatGPT could take in for proofreading. Unfortunately, I was not able to figure a way around the 3,000-word (more or less) text box limit. I did however create this prompt in the process and thought I would share it here.
LIMITATIONS - Currently you are limited to an input of only about 2,600 words for your article. Using this prompt. That is enough for most articles.

Overall, the article is well-written and informative, but there are a few areas for improvement.
Grammar, Spelling Issues, and Sentence Structure:

For instance, "people are starting to see that AI is not just for driving cars or creating weird pictures" could be improved to "people are beginning to understand that AI has many practical applications beyond driving cars or creating abstract art."

The article has a conversational tone, but there are some repetitive phrases that could be replaced with alternatives. For example, "ChatGPT is different" could be rephrased as "ChatGPT sets itself apart" or "ChatGPT stands out."
Content and Suggestions:
The article provides a thorough history of AI chatbots and the development of ChatGPT, but there are areas that could benefit from additional detail or sources. For instance, the article could provide more information on how reinforcement and supervised learning contributed to ChatGPT's development. Additionally, the article could suggest ways that ChatGPT could be applied in the future, such as in healthcare or education.
Fact-Checking:
The article appears to be accurate, with no significant factual errors detected.
Formatting:
The article could benefit from more subheadings and bullet points to break up large blocks of text and make it more scannable.
Plagiarism:
The article does not contain any instances of plagiarism.

The article is easy to read, with a Flesch-Kincaid reading level of 9.5. To improve readability, the article could include more subheadings and shorter paragraphs.
