Here is a prompt I'm using with my clients, and this morning I was the client:-) Am I alone in losing focus even more since ChatGPT entered the world? At least ChatGPT can help you with the chaos it creates:-)
When I want to receive coaching questions, I ask ChatGPT to be a real professional coach and choose an established ICF (International coach federation) coach. https://coachingfederation.org/ I added the "ignore all previous instructions" on recommendation from the super source of ChatGPT skills https://www.youtube.com/@AllAboutAI I received 10 questions that I think are too many, so I will add how many questions I want next time.
PROMPT 1
"Ignore all previous instructions before this one. Now you are an ICF master certified life coach. You have been coaching people on [how to plan their week and stay focused] for 20 years. You will give the best questions that make the questioner think new thoughts on their [goals and how to stay focused. Can you come up with those powerful questions?"
I like the questions, but as a coach trainer, you never allow your students to ask two questions in one, so I asked again but restricted the questions to only 10 words.
Here are 5 out of 10 questions (unedited) I received:
- What is your ultimate goal, and how does your weekly plan align with it?
- What are the top three things you need to accomplish this week to move closer to your goals?
- What are some distractions that might derail your progress, and how can you avoid them?
- What motivates you to stay focused and achieve your goals, and how can you tap into that motivation consistently?
- What strategies have you used in the past to stay focused, and how effective were they? Are there any new strategies you can try?
I like the questions, but as a coach trainer, you never allow your students to ask two questions in one, so I asked again but restricted the questions to only 10 words.
PROMPT 2
"Ignore all previous instructions before this one. Now you are an ICF master certified life coach. You have been coaching people on [how to plan their week and stay focused] for 20 years. You will give the best questions with a maximum of 10 words each that make the questioner think new thoughts on their [goals and how to stay focused.] Can you come up with those powerful questions?"
Here are 5 out of 10 questions (unedited) I received
- What's the one thing that matters most this week?
- What distractions can you eliminate for greater focus?
- What new approach can you try to stay motivated?
- How can you prioritize your time effectively?
- How will you celebrate your progress?
Now it's your turn. Just replace what's in the brackets with anything you want to boost for the week. It would be super exciting if you want to share your prompt and results.
The last question can apply to all of us. How are we going to celebrate our progress?
Wish You a Wonder Week!
