Has anyone successfully distributed a migrated ChatGPT plugin to paying customers outside their own workspace?

We have 22 plugins for authors and family historians and are exploring sales through our WordPress/WooCommerce website. Ideally, customers would purchase there and use the plugin in their own ChatGPT accounts.

If you have a working implementation:

How do customers install and access the plugin?
Which ChatGPT plans do you and your customers need?
Can you restrict access to purchasers and revoke it after a refund?
What happens if a customer forwards the plugin link?

We want to retain control of the underlying instructions and knowledge files, keeping the exported ZIP packages private rather than distributing them.

We’ve also asked OpenAI Support for its recommendation. Meanwhile, we’d appreciate firsthand experience with what’s working, including limitations and additional infrastructure required.
