From Custom GPTs to Apps — Has Anyone Made the Move?
I’m looking for practical experience from anyone who's already traveled this road. I built a suite of 21 custom GPTs focused on authors, publishing, and book marketing—tools for opportunity research, reader pain points, competitive gaps, book positioning, and related publishing workflows. Each was designed as a focused tool, not a general chatbot. My original plan was simple: distribute individual GPTs by direct link, with customers using them inside their own ChatGPT accounts. Then the ground shifted. OpenAI has ended new GPT creation and publishing on personal accounts. Existing GPTs still work, and ChatGPT Business may preserve some link-sharing options, but that feels more like a bridge than the long-term destination. So I’m now exploring the next question: What is the best way to turn an existing custom GPT into a standalone App or web-based tool? Ideally, I’m looking for a path that: - preserves the GPT’s instructions and workflow rather than rebuilding the concept from scratch; - gives authors and publishers a simple interface without requiring them to understand prompts; - allows me to control access and eventually sell individual tools; - does not require maintaining an elaborate SaaS operation. I’m not wedded to any particular platform. I’m interested in what people have actually built and deployed—whether with the OpenAI API, ChatGPT Apps, WordPress, no-code/low-code platforms, or another approach entirely. If you’ve converted a custom GPT into something customers can use outside the GPT Store ecosystem, what path did you take, and would you choose it again?

ChatGPT Images 2.5 is here: fewer “why did you change that?” moments 🎨
Ever asked ChatGPT to change one thing in an image, only for something else to mysteriously change too? The background looks lovely, but your product now appears to have a new logo. Cheers for that. 😂 OpenAI has launched ChatGPT Images 2.5, with improvements aimed at making image creation and editing more useful for everyday work. Here's what stands out: • More precise edits, with better preservation of the details you want to keep. • Better consistency across several rounds of changes. • Sharper detail, more natural lighting and improved layouts. • Faster generation, with OpenAI reporting up to 50% lower latency compared with Images 2.0. There are also three handy additions: Sketch lets you draw a rough idea directly in ChatGPT, templates help you start with a format such as a poster, and prompt sharing lets other people adapt your creations. For business owners, I'd start with a small, real job: a promotional graphic, a product image or a thumbnail. Try uploading a product photo and asking: “Create a square social media graphic using this product photo. Keep the product, packaging and logo unchanged. Use a clean cream background, leave space at the top for a headline, and add the exact words: ‘Meet your new favourite’.” Then ask for one change: “Change only the background to pale blue. Keep everything else the same.” Check the logo, wording and product details yourself. That's a much better test than whether the first image looks impressive! OpenAI says Images 2.5 is rolling out across all ChatGPT tiers on web, mobile and desktop. Full announcement: https://openai.com/index/introducing-chatgpt-images-2-5/ What would you try first: product photos, thumbnails, social posts or something completely different?

@Jason West it’s so true but with me, I’m so busy it’s like I get the information. I’m like yes I’m gonna try it and then I get so caught up in my daily life. It can be so frustrating.

I would be playing with photos every day because with AI I have to start by building the character and Boy oh boy, especially when it comes to carnival themes where everybody’s in a bikini you would’ve thought I was the biggest pervert on earth and then it will turn around and produce a picture with me, asked out not even a bikini bottom and I’m thinking is this like the most contradictory workflow I have ever seen I get so mad I tell it off. He told me I would be a very aggressive employer LMAO but building characters is a huge thing for me and for me it has to be just right so I am so excited for this. I’m gonna go ask ChatGPT right now how to access this
Are you ChatGPTmaized? 😂
Because I feel like we need to talk about this word for a second. People have very strong opinions about ChatGPT. Some love it, some hate it, and some act like using AI automatically means you’ve handed over your brain and joined a futuristic robot cult. Meanwhile me? I’m over here like… I’m not ChatGPTmaized — I will absolutely cuss it out when it gets something wrong. 😂 But I also can’t pretend it hasn’t genuinely helped me. Not in a “what’s the capital of something” way. More like when my brain is doing too much at once. It helps me organize my thoughts, break overwhelming tasks into simple steps, and turn “this is impossible” into “okay… I can actually start this.” It’s also been a support tool while I’m learning through Boss Suite — not by doing anything for me, but by helping me understand and implement what I’m learning. Like if I need to set up my Beacons page, I can ask it to walk me through it step by step. Or if something feels huge, I can break it down until I know exactly what to do first, second, and third. It helps turn information into action.Because sometimes the problem isn’t understanding the lesson… It’s looking at the whole thing at once and thinking:Absolutely not. 😂 ChatGPT just helps shrink it down to: “Do this one thing first.” And suddenly, I’m moving. That’s the biggest misconception about AI. It doesn’t have to replace learning. Used right, it can actually support how you learn and help you realize: “Oh… I actually CAN do this.” So now I’m curious… Are you ChatGPTmaized? 😂 And if you use ChatGPT, what’s one way it’s genuinely helped you in real life?

@Marcus Frakes ChatGPTmatized (adj.): when you’ve learned how to use ChatGPT so well that it becomes your creative partner, problem-solver, teacher, and extra set of hands—helping you turn big, overwhelming ideas into clear, doable steps. Basically: you still bring the brain and the vision… ChatGPT helps you organize the chaos. 😂
💡 CHATGPT PROMPT SHORTCUTS — HOW TO USE THEM CORRECTLY
I am new here. Thank you for welcoming me to this community. I wanted to share something that may help us get better and more useful responses from ChatGPT. First, an important clarification: ⚠️ These are NOT official ChatGPT commands, secret codes, or hidden modes. They are PROMPT SHORTCUTS — easy labels we can use to tell ChatGPT what type of reasoning, analysis, tone, or approach we want. For the best results, especially in a new conversation, don’t rely on the shortcut word alone. Type the shortcut AND tell ChatGPT what you want it to do. Here are some useful ones and how to use them correctly: 🔹 TRUTHMODE USE WHEN: You want honest feedback instead of reassurance or automatic agreement. PROMPT: “TRUTHMODE: Give me your honest assessment. Don’t agree with me just to be agreeable. Tell me what works, what doesn’t, and what I may be overlooking.” 🔹 ELI10 USE WHEN: Something is complicated and you want it explained in simple language. PROMPT: “ELI10: Explain this to me as if I were 10 years old. Keep the language simple, but don’t leave out information I actually need to understand it.” 🔹 REDTEAM USE WHEN: You have an idea, plan, business strategy, argument, or decision and want someone to challenge it BEFORE you act on it. PROMPT: “REDTEAM: Challenge this idea. Look for weaknesses, risks, blind spots, incorrect assumptions, counterarguments, and reasons this could fail.” 🔹 80/20 USE WHEN: You’re overwhelmed and need to know what actually deserves your attention first. PROMPT: “80/20: Apply the Pareto principle to this situation. Identify the few actions likely to produce the greatest results and tell me what I should prioritize first.” 🔹 FIRSTPRINCIPLES USE WHEN: You don’t want the standard answer and want the problem broken down logically from the beginning. PROMPT: “FIRSTPRINCIPLES: Break this problem down into its fundamental facts and assumptions. Separate what we know from what we’re assuming, then build the best solution from there.” 🔹 SOCRATES USE WHEN: You want ChatGPT to help you THINK through something instead of simply handing you an answer.

@Zahida A Khan that’s the key interaction and engagement. Even on this app every time you get alike, you get a point every time you post you get a point so why not just press like on everybody’s post or comment? It just gives everybody point so why not we support each other and simply press like and get each other the point so we all move up together
Use ChatGPT to Stay Ahead in Your Niche
One of the most valuable ways I use ChatGPT is to help me stay informed about the things that actually matter to me, my business, and my content. You can create a personalized daily briefing based on YOUR interests. For example, if you’re a content creator, entrepreneur, or building an online business, your briefing could include: • Changes and updates on TikTok and other social media platforms • New creator tools and features • AI and technology updates • Trends developing within your niche • Industry news and upcoming releases • Topics people are beginning to talk about • News or developments you could turn into content Instead of spending your morning jumping between websites and social media trying to figure out what’s happening, you can have ChatGPT research and organize the information that is relevant to you. And here’s where it becomes valuable for content creation: Information creates opportunity. When you know what’s changing, what’s coming and what people are talking about, you can create timely content instead of constantly playing catch-up. Don’t just use AI to answer questions. Use it to help you stay informed, prepared and ahead of your niche.
