Rewriting the Past
Yesterday’s Brotherhood session ended with encouragement to reframe our painful experiences as lessons — effectively rewriting our past from a more empowering perspective.
Having recently written a memoir about mental illness, I can testify to the incredible healing that comes from revisiting and reclaiming the past on healthier terms.
Journalling and sharing stories are ways to tap into the power of the rewrite. For those of you with more literary ambitions, I can recommend a longer-term commitment. I haven’t even published yet, and my return on investment has been massive.
Two years ago, I started writing my book about three decades with Bipolar Disorder Type II. In July 2024, I thought I had written the last chapter, and then I met Dan Munro.
If you’re a member of the Integrity Army, you’re probably not surprised to hear that the dude stole the show, changed the ending, and I love him for it.
Long story (book) short:
30 years of “incurable” Bipolar II + 2 months of Dan Munro = No more bipolar.
I reckon it’s a bestseller.
Virtual book launch party for The Integrity Cure coming to an Integrity Army post near you in 2025.
