SOTD: Angelique Noire by Guerlain
Still cold in Central Florida so wearing something that I typically would not wear during the day. Angelique Noire by Guerlain is simply an elegant and sophisticated fragrance that wears very well on my skin. The opening is a semi-sweet herbal scent with some Musk coming from the Angelica and Pear notes. At 15 minutes the musk is becoming the more dominant scent along with some white floral notes. at 30 minutes I am starting to get some additional sweetness from the Angelica and Vanilla notes. It is a soft and creamy sweetness which is simply amazing. The drydown on this fragrance is simple, subtle, and elegant. There is a creamy sweetness coming from the Angelic and Vanilla but it is balanced by the woods. Performance: Projection is OK with the fragrance creating a scent bubble of about 18" for about 90 minutes. The Sillage is similar with a scent trail of about 2 feet for about 90 minutes as well. Longevity is OK with the fragrance lasting on my skin about 4 to 5 hours and becoming a skin scent at about 2.5 hours. This scent is 100% worth a re-spray because you get to enjoy the transition of the fragrance all over again. This moved Babycat out of my top 5 and took its place.
