What’s a good every-day year round fragrance?

I’m looking at my collection and feeling like it’s very seasonal - a bunch of great options for higher heat and a whole boatload of great ones for cooler weather (lol we get 9 months a year of cool wet/cold weather here in Seattle). But I don’t really have a lot that are just dumb reaches all year round. The closest I have are things like Dior Homme 2020, Spicebomb Metallic Musk, Superz Smesh and Morocco, and YSL Y. I have others that are good all year but are overkill to use in everyday situations (eg Absolu Aventus, BDC).

I kind of have it stuck in my head that there should just be a crisp, sparkly year-round frag I can reach for anytime that’s just a good men’s cologne with no crazy notes, no insane price tag, is likable etc.

Eau Sauvage Parfum 2017 comes *extremely* close to what I’m looking for, but I’m bummed that something about the citron doesn’t sit well with me otherwise it would be perfect. Lalique pour Homme even came close, but the Iris killed it. I guess I’m looking for some kind of classic citrus aromatic.

I’d prefer designer or accessible niche to ME/dupe for this one. I’d be ok if it doesn’t work in the coldest of winter or highest of heat in the summer because we don’t get extremes like that here in Seattle. And of course I can’t take anything with my usual no-fly list of Iris, Clary Sage, White Florals, Rose etc.

I’ve got decants of Ormond Man, the OG Eight & Bob and Montblanc Explorer Extreme coming - those might be what I’m looking for. Any other ideas?
