SOTD: Paris Corner Coconut Lagoon

Hello Gents!

Todays SOTD... is ironic for me.

I dislike coconut. Everything of it. The meat, the water, the smell, and not one fragrance with coconut on it has clicked with me. A few I didn't dislike, but never enough to even consider wearing.

Enter Paris Corner Coconut Lagoon. Extremely hyped by Ross at TLTG Reviews, noticed how an usual decant provider of mine had added it to their catalogue. Figured why not.

Let me pick up my jaw from the floor... I love this fragrance, against all expectations.

Listed notes are on top, Lemon, Mandarin and Apple. Middle Notes have Watermelon and Caramel. In the base is where we find the Coconut and vanilla.

The coconut note is of course, very prominent, but what did it for me, is that I find the fragrance to be so well blended. The citruses on top never leave, instead as they go away, they get mixed with the drydown notes. When the coconut is at its strongest, you get an incredibly creamy coconut mixed with sweetish citruses, all hugging everything else together. And that citrusy-coconut is what completely won me over.

Performance seems solid. Applied at about 9AM, usual 6 sprays, and at almost 2:30, it's still rather distinguishable. Still get consistent whiffs of it.

Completely unisex, leaning feminine.

Conclusion: Do I like it? Love it.

Am I going to enjoy the decant? This one will barely last.

Full bottle worthy? Absolutely!
