I got my nose on this last week and ordered a decant immediately. Well it came over the weekend and I’ve been giving it a wear for a few days now. Unlike some others I liked on paper but not on skin, this one was even better on skin. IMHO it lives up to the hype - it’s just fantastic.

My nose isn’t refined enough yet to pick out all the notes - but this scent comes across as extremely complex, well blended and elegant. At the open I get some tangy grapefruit and green lime and then… just a wall of goodness. I think there’s a hint of something sparkly floral, which I don’t usually like, but it’s gorgeous here. I think there’s a little musk that gives it some lift. I think there’s a backbone of something warm and a little balsamic and maybe a little vanillic. I honestly can’t pick out a ton of individual notes, it’s just a beautiful composition. This stays pretty citrusy for a while, and the tang somehow sticks around into a lovely drydown. A few sprays to each arm and I get a whiff now and then, but I suspect it’s projecting like crazy and my nose is just going blind to it. On my skin it seemed to stay in the mids for about 3-4 hours before becoming a delicious skin scent for another 3-4 hours.

This is a very elegant fragrance, perfect for dressy or smart casual summer events day or evening - and I think the woody balsamic notes make it ok for spring and cooler late summer / very beginning of fall too. I think if you like something like Aventus Cologne or other upscale sparkly green citrus fragrances, you will like this. This is an expensive fragrance but to me it’s full bottle worthy and it’s going on my wishlist.
