Amber is a discontinued fragrance from the clothing designer brand rag & bone. It has quickly become one of my favorite amber fragrances and has surpassed Ambre Sultan in my collection. In my opinion, the blend is more akin to a niche fragrance than a designer. This perfume was created by the fragrance giant Firmanech, but received very little attention in the community. Thanks to and , I was introduced to the fragrance, and not too soon. I no longer see it being available at the retailer's site. Amber exudes a warm, boozy, and spicy profile with prominent notes of rum, tobacco, and vanilla, crafting an irresistibly sexy and seductive unisex scent perfect for cool weather. The performance is subtle, and the fragrance stays close to the skin, so this isn't going to be a favorite of guys who prefer beast mode fragrances. This fragrance offers a mature, and sophisticated vibe that can be described as intoxicating. In my opinion, it smells great.
The composition includes rum, saffron, bergamot, cognac, plum, oud, vanilla, tobacco, and liquidambar. Despite its sweet notes, it avoids being overly sugary, with vanilla providing a subtle sweetness. The blend of amber, tobacco, and hints of plum or cognac adds to its complexity.
