Not my usual style of fragrance, but I enjoyed this one from Paris Corner. A 2024 release. It's fresh, fruity & floral with Citrus, Woody, and Musky undertones. I've heard that it's similar to D&Gs Light Blue, but I don't see any vomparison. This is a great-value, versatile, and unique take on a "freshie" fragrance.
The fragrance opens with a burst of fresh citrus, dominated by Bergamot and Lemon, giving it a juicy quality. This initial freshness is quickly contrasted by the inclusion of Incense and a subtle hint of Leather, which adds a smoky depth. A creamy, sweet touch from Ylang-Ylang and a slightly green, herbal quality from Artemisia round out the opening. The heart of the fragrance blossoms into a pleaant blend with a sweet Orange adding a radiant, fruity sweetness that is beautifully balanced by a floral combo ofJasmine and Magnolia. The Ginger adds a warm, spicy kick, while Patchouli anchors the florals with an earthy, dark depth. The final stage is where Qissa Blue truly settles into a warm, enveloping skin scent. Heavy Musk and Soft Amber form a velvety foundation, while Powdery notes add a touch of clean, comforting refinement. The blend of Woody Essences, Saffron, and Oakmoss creates an earthy, long-lasting trail that is both warm and rich.
Performance for this type of scent ain't too bad, I'm getting a good 5 hrs on skin, projection is moderate at best though,It projects well enough to be noticed without being overpowering, especially after the initial 15-30 minutes. It's one of those that starts off strong and then settles into a soft, inviting scent bubble. Whilst it makes a good summer scent, it versatile enough for a daily or office wear
