This one is a bold Woody-Spicy fragrance that has been liked to Valentino Uomo Born in Roma Coral Fantasy. Launched in 2023, this is an oldie in my collection, but it always gets included in my rotation. It strikes a balance between fruity freshness and dark, smoky masculinity. Lattafa tend to keep their perfumers in house, unless it's a big name from the west. Most of their current catalogue is developed by the brand’s specialized fragrance directors in Dubai.
Jasoor begins with a vibrant and crisp opening where juicy apple meets the zesty brightness of bergamot. This gets balanced by a warm, aromatic spark of cardamom & cinnamon. As the fragrance moves into its heart, it takes on a more refined character; a soothing lavender paired with a herbal geranium for a floral smoothness that perfectly tames a rich, slightly smoky tobacco note. The dry-down is where the fragrance truly settles into its bold identity, featuring a foundation of earthy patchouli, vetiver & leather, all wrapped in the creamy, sweet warmth of tonka bean to ensure a smooth finish.
For the price you get great value, performance wise, 4hrs on skin, with a solid projection for the first 60m. It creates a noticeable scent bubble around you without being cloying, provided you don't over spray. Whilst probably not great for high heat, it's versatile enough for Autumn/Winter/ Spring wear. Ideal for date nights, evening events, or office-wear, if applied lightly. It has a bit of a boss vibe that works well for professional settings. Jasoor is a safe bet.
