Sangria + Embers by Michael Malul review

#sotd.... Sangria + Embers by Michael Malul.... This is by far one of my favorites from Michael Malul. I also think it is one of the better performers from them. I went 9 hours before refreshing. It was still there, just more of an intimate scent on my skin. But I definitely was still picking it up. The opening and throughout the mid, is really nice with the combination of the Orange, Green Apple, and Raspberry. Between 2 to 3 hours in, the Saffron, Amber and Tonka Bean starts to show through. Deep into the dry down I got some of the woodiness, but not much. The sweetness stood out to me. Not in a bad way but in a really nice complimentary way. I give this a 9.5 out of 10. For me, it would be a 10 if it had a strong projection. The projection is good, just not beast mode or room filling. But just enough to get noticed.
