Rayhaan - Imperia Intense

I bought this one recently - as a blind buy, after reading the note breakdown on a website I trust.

Top Notes:

Star Anise, Cypress, Pepper, Tangerine.

Heart notes:

Incense, Lavender, Orange Blossom, Vetiver.

Base Notes:

Cashmere Wood, Vanilla, Musk, Sandalwood.

Tbf, I can't say the note breakdown 100% reflects my real life experience, I couldn't pick much int he way of the tangerine, through the Star Anise, cypress, and pepper are in there, though not bitter in any way. I found the incense and vetiver are definitely detectable the lavender is very subtle - but I suspect offsets and freshens some of thee heavier notes. The vanilla and a soft sandalwood come through prominently on the dry down.

For me, the balance between sweetness and green/fresh is what makes this one so appealing. I found it also has a fair degree of punch, with decent longevity (6+hrs) and a fair amount of projection to boot.

Its insanely good value too - £17 for 100ml EDP

Glad I took the risk on this one!
