Purpose 50 vs Decision

It’s a pretty hot day here so I cranked up the AC and actually got a little cold, and then I thought hey now I can wear some cool weather frags! So I’ve got 4 sprays of Decision on one arm and 4 of Purpose 50 on the other. I have been getting strong whiffs for HOURS, these things are nuclear and show no signs of stopping 5 hours into the wear.

So far l, I think I prefer Decision… Purpose 50 is richer and evenly balanced to me — it’s dry woods, spice and oudy amber — whereas Decision is this interesting mix of aromatic woody spices but is somehow a little fresher and brighter, with an incense note and maybe the juniper sharpening things up. I think I like Decision’s juxtaposition of fresh aromatic and warm richness.

I… don’t think that either have a place in my collection. I far prefer how addictive Outlands is to me and these just don’t get me as excited. But they are both very very rich and complex and I’m enjoying my nuclear cloud of rich wood and spice… so I think I’ll just work my way through these decants.
