Today is the first wear from my full bottle of Kalan, and this is one of those mornings that reminds me why adding a fragrance to the collection can be so satisfying.

I had already sampled Kalan and liked it enough to decide it deserved a place in the collection. Then comes the order. The wait. The bottle finally arrives. And then eventually you get to that very first proper wear from your own bottle.

There is always a little question in the back of my mind…

Was it really as good as I remembered?

Well, Kalan answered that pretty quickly today. Yes. And maybe even better. 😎

The projection is exactly where I want it. It gives me a really nice scent bubble and leaves a noticeable trail without feeling like I’m trying to fumigate the building. 😂

But what has impressed me even more today is the longevity.

Hours later, it is still very much there and still giving me those little reminders throughout the day that make wearing fragrance so enjoyable for me.

There is something incredibly gratifying about sampling a fragrance, thinking about it, deciding it deserves a full bottle…and then having that first wear completely validate the decision.

No buyer’s remorse here. Quite the opposite.

Kalan has officially gone from “great sample” to “very happy addition to the collection.” 😎

And there really is something about that first full-bottle wear that just hits differently.
