Murmure d 'Ete - Plume Impression
This is a Fig fragrance. This is a little feminine too. This is a $200+ fig fragrance. The bottle is nice. I don't want to buy this one. I'm almost cured of my fig fixation. A realistic fig that lasts more than an hour is a difficult thing to acquire.
My review of Murmure is that it is a very Australian sandalwood-heavy perfume. If you get that 'pickle' smell from anything resembling Santal 33, keep your distance. The opening is dense with davana sweetness and a lactonic fig note. The heart has a sweet and creamy tonka. But in this mix you have Freesia. Freesia is a floral note that absolutely screams out of any fragrance, and in my opinion this is where it turns feminine. The fig smell is very realistic. The sillage is decent but projection is lacking. Performance, maybe 2 hours. It smelled better on my female friends. Another Bisch fragrance for over $200 that doesn't last a whole morning and I'm getting tired of his releases. I'm happier with Lorson's Fig Infusion on this side of realistic fig tree smells.
