Fragrances you like but your significant other can't stand

I have two questions for the group:

The "Scrubber" Dilemma: What is that one fragrance you absolutely adore, but your partner hates so much they want to open every window in the house and make you wash it off?
The Compromise: How do you handle wearing these polarizing scents? Do you only wear them when you're heading out alone, or have you found a way to "train their nose" to appreciate the more complex stuff without causing a headache?

I've noticed my wife prefers my mass appealing designers and clones (what they were made to do and getting their job done) over most of my niche or more complex ones. This is a main reason a lot of my niche are decants. A good example is I really like Xerjoff Tony Iommi Monkey Special and Deified and would love full bottles in my collection but alas, she can't stand them and I will probably stick to the decants as I would only really wear them going out with my friends on a guys night.
