Fragrance Review: Boss Bottled Beyond by Hugo Boss

I had this sample sitting on my desk for a few weeks and finally decided to test and review it. Boss Bottled Beyond by Hugo Boss, according to Fragrantica, is a fragrance for men introduced in 2025. This scent is characterized by a blend of spicy and leather notes, with ginger providing a fresh opening, leather as the heart, and woody notes forming the base.

Review: The opening is smooth and spicy from the Ginger and Leather notes. At 15 minutes into the wear, the spiciness has settled down some and I am getting a soft and creamy scent. At 30 minutes the scent is now a soft leather with a hint of spiciness. At 60 minutes the fragrance has settled down significantly and I am getting a slightly spicy, creamy, and light woody scent that to me feels very fresh. At full dry down the fragrance is a very soft scent that is perfect for a professional or school setting. It is not overpowering in any way and sits very nicely on the skin projecting an aroma that is elegant.

Performance. Projection of this fragrance is OK. Since it is a soft fragrance from opening to dry down, it does not project very well, however, I would rate it at 12" to 18" for about the first 45 minutes. What the fragrance lacks on projectiion it more than makes up for on longevity. On my skin (4 sprays from a sample bottle), the fragrance lasted between 5 to 6 hours.

This fragrance is nice, however, I would not consider purchasing a full bottle. I would consider getting a 10ML decant so that I could wear it occasionally for a specific situation (business meeting, doctor visit, watching a movie at home with your significant other, etc.)
