Forum Sparring! Debates! Criticism!

After participating in this forum for a long time.

brought up an interesting topic. I have personally Sparred with a lot of brothers in this group or rather brotherhood and I can personally tell you in a group as diverse as this if you have an open mind it can be very educational and inspiring. Because of all the different personalities and all the opinions I have been forced to really evaluate some of my thinking. Sometimes I felt that I have been c completely vindicated by my assessment of my thoughts and other times I have felt that I was coming off left base left base and I had to reevaluate my thoughts either way it was a learning experience and nothing I have ever taken personally. If you’re not willing to be critiqued and are too sensitive, then maybe putting stuff up on a forum isn’t for you. As I sit back in retrospect, there are a lot of times more often than not that if I wasn’t critiqued, I would never have grown in this hobby that we love.. Other time starting a debate, I have come across other perspectives that I necessarily would’ve never looked at. And the few times that I was absolutely correct. I am pretty sure that I helped out one of my other brothers. So depending upon your perspective and being willing to listen to the other perspectives of others, the growth potential is humongous !!!
