This morning I plan to create a warm, energetic and inviting atmosphere in my kitchen. The Pandora play list is going on and it is going to be "Workout Music Radio" ! The oven will take the cool dampness out of the air and replace it with a warm dry heat, ideal for celebrating the grape harvest by baking grape pie.
Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue Intense will work quite well for this project, as it brings a vibrancy of freshness. The sharp, zesty citrus notes of Light Blue Intense will provide a clean and refreshing counterpoint to the rich, sweet, and slightly earthy aroma of the grape pies baking. Juniper and musk will add depth and a slightly woody character, which will also pair nicely with the fruity, comforting scent of the pie. As a side note, my shower with Coast will also work in the background, understated but foundational.
Light Blue Intense would normally not be one to reach for when summer departs for the arrival of fall. would have had me add three exclamation points to that sentence. However, in this situation I reach for it because it will create an invigorating and uplifting ambiance contrasting the warm, cozy feeling of baking, and give me a refreshing balance. It’s less about cozy warmth with this fragrance and more about brightening the space and providing some invigoration. As a freshie I am dedicated! And as pie bakers in the audience know, this culinary art requires an energetic enthusiasm along with combination of light hands and carefully calculated measurements. Have a grape day, gents!
