Creative layering experiences…

I just came back from a Maison Crivelli event. And as is often the case with these kinds of presentations, I didn't really like any of the individual fragrances. I usually end up layering the fragrances on display. Here, I really liked the combination of Safran Secret and Cuir Infrarouge in a 3:1 ratio. The dark saffron scent was given a warm, sweet creaminess by the raspberry and vanilla.

Have you had similar experiences with other fragrances? I'm always interested in creative combinations.
