's post this morning and decided to head over to Macy's this afternoon and see if I could try it out. I was fortunate enough to be able to pick up a sample and to do some test sprays on my arm and neck.

I have talked in the past about my lack of appreciation for Bleu De Chanel. I have tried every iteration they've put out, including a few clones (CDN Iconic), and I never really saw the appeal. It was just kind of blah to me, and the Parfum gives me that citrus headache I talk about some times. So largely I've just ignored it and decided it wasn't for me.

But reading Antonio's description made me decide to try it, and WOW. I am blown away. I can't stop sniffing my arm. It's 6 hours later, and the test spray is finally beginning to die down to a skin scent. So I don't think it's going to be a loud projector or beast fragrance, but that's absolutely okay. This smells like money and success, and it shouldn't be obnoxious or overpowering. It exudes quiet confidence. I walked taller after putting this on. I have a meeting with an executive for a project in September on Monday, and you can bet your bippy that I'm wearing this to that meeting.

Do yourself a favor, and go smell this. Try to get a sample if you can. Don't blind buy it, but definitely give it a wear or two.

It's exclusive to Macy's for some amount of time, and Chanel doesn't do discounters, so it's expensive. $205 for the 50mL / $275 for the 100mL, but they're having a 15% discount if you reserve it ahead of next weekend.
