Hey good people!

I received this fragrance yesterday and did some testing, both on paper and on my wrist. My first impression? I was blown away! The sweet, fruity, juicy raspberry in the opening is amazing. It’s beautifully blended with cardamom and a subtle leathery touch. At first, I was ready to put this one at the very top of the Wanted line.

But today… I did a full wear test, and honestly? I’m disappointed.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s a nice fragrance, and I do think it’s worth a try. However, that incredible opening doesn’t last. And by “doesn’t last,” I mean super quick. It fades within minutes.

I checked out a few reviews on YouTube, and it seems I’m not the only one feeling this way. Man, if that juicy, raspberry-cardamom opening could’ve stuck around for at least 30 to 45 minutes, this might’ve been the best release in the line, why not, the year!

Unfortunately, it’s gone in just a few minutes. After that, the cardamom and leather take over as the main players.There’s still a hint of the classic Wanted DNA in the background, but to me, it starts to feel more like a mix between La Nuit de L’Homme and a subtle TF Ombré Leather. Which, if you ask me, is actually an amazing combination!

Now, performance…

This is where things get disappointing. Despite being labeled as an Elixir, it doesn’t perform like one. The first minute or so, it’s powerful, beautiful, grabs your attention. But soon after, it starts sitting closer and closer to the skin. After about an hour, it’s basically a skin scent. It stays there, and you might catch some small whiffs now and then, but that’s about it.

Do I recommend it?

Yes… and no.

Yes, because it’s a great scent. That opening is out of this world.

No, because I don’t think it’s worth full retail price. My advice? Wait until it hits discounters or grab a smaller bottle if you’re curious.
