It’s the first Monday in June, and I’m super excited about what’s to come in our small group here! Did you know that summertime is a season of expansion, energy, and play? For many people, energy levels are at an all-time high during the summer. This is partly due to the days being longer and more sunshine (vitamin D). We also tend to move our bodies more and spend more time in nature. “There’s an undeniable connection between weather and overall mood,” according to Summer Soothes Our Senses—and Our Souls. Since energy levels often peak in summer (before it gets too hot), I want to spend time this month discussing some topics that should be top of mind during the summer months.
Think fatigue/adrenal (stress) support, inflammation control (inflammation is often exacerbated with hotter temps), skin health, and emotional well-being!
Whether you realize it or not, your body reacts differently during each season of the year, and with energy levels spiking right now, I think it’s the perfect time to take advantage of some new overall health education! ☀️
