Tuesday Eats 🄘
ā¬‡ļø Nourishing your body tip #1ā¬‡ļø
Learn what your body needs in terms of macronutrients.
Don’t just track and forget it. Pay attention. That doesn’t mean you have to track all the time, etc., but you do need to be aware of what your body needs in terms of protein, carbohydrates, and healthy fats.
Learning what you need and how your body feels can feel a little confusing at first, but eventually, you’ll just know—and once you know, you can’t ā€œunknow.ā€ It’s hard to ignore it once you’re aware of how great or terrible foods make you feel. You certainly don’t have to track everything you eat to practice awareness. For example, if you eat a hefty portion of carbohydrates early in the day, you’re probably aware that you need to focus on getting in your protein and fat for the rest of the day. You don’t have to obsess about it, but if you want proper nourishment to become your lifestyle, you need to be aware of what your body needs (and how it feels) at the very least. šŸ‘Œ
