Learn what your body needs in terms of macronutrients.
Donāt just track and forget it. Pay attention. That doesnāt mean you have to track all the time, etc., but you do need to be aware of what your body needs in terms of protein, carbohydrates, and healthy fats.
Learning what you need and how your body feels can feel a little confusing at first, but eventually, youāll just knowāand once you know, you canāt āunknow.ā Itās hard to ignore it once youāre aware of how great or terrible foods make you feel. You certainly donāt have to track everything you eat to practice awareness. For example, if you eat a hefty portion of carbohydrates early in the day, youāre probably aware that you need to focus on getting in your protein and fat for the rest of the day. You donāt have to obsess about it, but if you want proper nourishment to become your lifestyle, you need to be aware of what your body needs (and how it feels) at the very least. š
