After reading this quote, I can’t help but agree with it. The reality is that, generally speaking, Western society lives with this attitude—even if we don’t realize it. Because we live in a quick, grab-n-go world these days, many of us are addicted to sugar and highly processed foods. We don’t think twice about slogans like “America runs on Dunkin’” because we’re unaware of how deep the sugar/processed food issue really is.
Last week, I promised to continue educating you this month on the topic of sugar, how too much of it is detrimental to your goals and health, and tips on how to reduce it in your everyday diet. Again, slowly taking steps to reduce processed sugars from your diet will help you crush our sugar elimination challenge that’s coming up soon! Knowledge is power, which is why it’s our first step—and action is powerful, so we’re going to do that, too! 🙌
