Today is my first day back home before I take off again, and it made me realise something simple: life doesn’t really settle. Ever.
The past four months have been constant travel for work and leisure, different routines, different gyms, sometimes no gym at all.
I’ve trained less. There’s been more randomness and less structure than usual.
But I’ve also worried less.
A few years ago, this would have stressed me out. I would’ve felt like I was falling behind. Now I don’t, because my health isn’t built around perfect conditions. It’s built around reality. Around MY life.
My training can shrink when life gets busy and expand when things are more calmer.
So even when it looks like I’m “off track,” I’m not.
My off track is actually still on my track. 😜
And as a very real example of that, today I made a simple ala bolognese that will last me for 3 days so I don’t have to waste time cooking. Nothing fancy.
I’m also still jet lagged - so I only went for a quick run. Nothing fancy (again).
Lesson of today:
Busy months aren’t the problem.
The problem is having a system that only works when life is calm and simple (never).
BTW
You’ll find the food plan inside the classroom.
It includes 20+ simple, practical recipes (including the ala bolognese I mentioned), designed for real life (lol).
If you’re in the 6-Month Movement Mastery program, it’s already unlocked for you there.
