Hey everyone, Recently our agency got hands on Google's new YouTube Ads guide for 2023, which shares ALL the best practices when launching and scaling your campaigns! I've attached it to this post for you to look at, but if you want the short summary, here it is: - Budget: Set a daily budget that is at least 15x tCPA for tCPA campaigns and 10x the expected CPA of your Max conversions campaigns to accelerate campaign ramp-up. - Bidding: Start with tCPA bidding, if you know your video CPA. Use the UI CPA guidance to determine tCPA for Video. If your primary goal is to drive as many conversions as possible through a flighted campaign, start with Maximize Conversions bidding. - Targeting: Start with either "Custom Audiences - search terms" or Remarketing or Customer Match or Similar Audiences and opt-in to “Optimized Targeting” to show your ads to more people who are likely to convert. For Custom Audiences - search terms, use 10-15 of the highest converting search keywords. - Creative: Add sitelinks to your campaign / adgroup OR run multiple creative variants (at least 5 if possible, changing up call to action button, headline text or core video asset) following these tips to optimize creative effectiveness And if you want a longer explanation of this guide from me, where I break down each of those steps more in depth... Read the THREAD I just published on Twitter here: https://twitter.com/thebrianmoncada/status/1654232293756502016?s=20 If you have any questions, comment down below! Hope this helps :)

Yesterday, I spoke about a new Adspend Classic Movie release about our experience at Patrick Bet-David’s Vault Conference 2023… …And the fire in some of the responses I got yesterday to that email were truly inspiring. The number of business owners who also felt like they were being sold the same lies as me, but didn't want to speak out in worry of the backlash for their brand... The number of coaches and consultants who feel powerless in front of this huge machinery called Mainstream Media, telling people they should do X, when they should do Y… The amount of agency owners who, just like us, want to break the chains that keep people prisoners of fake information… …It’s humbling. …It’s inspiring. …It’s encouraging. Because I’ve always known I wasn’t alone, and that I wasn’t the only one who felt this way… …But seeing these responses with my own eyes feels like a pat on the back.Makes me feel like I’m doing the right thing… …And that the insane amount of work, hours, and effort put into this ‘documentary’ was all worth it. So, without further ado… I now present to you, our newest Adspend.com Classic: ‘The Business Summit The ELITE Doesn’t Want You To Attend’ In this 34-minute ‘movie’, you’ll discover… - The Only Way To Create True, Compounding Wealth (Applies To Any Market Or Industry) - How To Go From Thinking 1-3 Moves Ahead To Becoming A Grand Master Of Your Own Future (Planning 11-15 Steps Ahead) - Why Most Leaders Fail Miserably And How To Inspire Your Team To Follow Your Lead (By Becoming Leaders In Their Own Way) - Why You Need To Be Able To Ask ‘Tough’ Questions And Have ‘Difficult’ Conversations (Hint: Feel The Pain Now, Or Feel Depleted After) - The ‘Savage Building’ Mindset You Desperately Need To Develop To A Company Worth Exiting For A Bunch Of Zero’s - Why We’re In A World Where Leaders Don’t Lead… And Why You Need To Become A Leader To Look Up ToAnd I could go on and on and on… …But before you go ahead and watch it…

I am trying to find out why my landing page conversion rate is so low at 4.3%... Attached is an image of my Google ads for this month for my one campaign that's running at $30 per day... I found a proven ad that was converting into booked calls, so I used that video angle and created different versions of it, (changing thumbnail and ad text) and those three versions are shown in the screenshot. I watched a training by @Israel Fernandez and replicated the landing page he was showing for my niche, with hope that it would perform better than the previous version I was using. It is still currently converting at 5%, which is how well my previous version was doing. Could you please watch my ad, view my landing page, and the two screenshots, and let me know what stands out? Ad: https://youtu.be/d5m3ogTj0Sw Two landing page versions: https://www.altermyparadigm.com/begin-now https://www.altermyparadigm.com/begin-journey Thanks so much! This truly means a lot. David @Brian Moncada @Israel Fernandez any suggestions? Greatly appreciate it!

You don't need Elon Muske level of cash to launch your very own agency. Nope, all you need is a dash of creativity and the guts to follow these three slick steps: Step 1: Pick a Niche 🎯 Imagine you're the Sherlock Holmes of the digital world, and your niche is your magnifying glass. The more specific you get, the sharper your focus becomes, and the easier it is to spot those golden opportunities. We're talking about a niche market—a group of folks who are starving for what you're dishing out. Ask yourself, "What am I damn good at? What revs up my engines? Whose problems can I solve?" Once you've got your answers, distill them into a catchy niche statement like, "I’m not a dentist, but I play one on Facebook. I help dentists get more leads, more bookings, and more CASH with Facebook Ads." OR "I fill up dentist's calendars 🗓️ with dream patients 🚀, Want some patients? DM me 📩." Remember, specificity is your secret sauce. Step 2: Fake It Till You Make It 🤫 No, I'm not suggesting you become a digital con artist or a faker. All I'm saying here is, you don't need a PhD in digital marketing or a portfolio as thick as the Yellow Pages to get started. Create mock projects for imaginary clients in your niche. Put on your creative hat and showcase your skills and results without waiting for a real client to come knocking. It's like revealing your secret sauce recipe without giving away all the ingredients. Just remember to be as transparent as a freshly cleaned window; honesty is still the best policy. LOL :) These projects? They're your showstoppers, your digital Mona Lisas – your way of saying, "Hey, look at what I can do!" Step 3: Hustle, hustle, hustle... Now, here's the deal-breaker. You gotta hustle like there's no tomorrow. Clients are the lifeblood of your agency, and without them, well, You don't have an actual Business! So, Youve got to hunt down clients like they owe you money. Network like a pro, leverage your connections, and seek out referrals.

Hi, does anyone know how to get an immediate response from Google Ads support? I've completed the advertiser's verification and didn't get verified the last part - "verify your business operations" All they same is wait 5-7 business days via email, but can't wait that long since if not verified my account will be paused. Did this happen to anyone?

If you start up a new campaign with 5 different ads within it, how much spend/clicks/time should you give on each individual ad before you pause any? I have about $40 spent and between 30 to 70 clicks on each individual ad and there is clearly one of the ads that's converting better with my current opt-in page. The campaign has been running for one week. When do you know it's okay to turn off the ads that are not performing within KPI? Thanks!

Hey everyone, I was curious what percentage of your ads budget do you use for testing new campaigns? Let's say we've got $10k/month to play with ads, we've got three winners that are bringing in about 20 calls a week now, should we look at 10-15% going into testing new campaigns so we don't just rely on these three? Thanks for your help!

Hi all As my agency grows, and our client results continue to improve, we're looking to change our offer up from the typical flat retainer fee to one in which we can charge a % of Revenue or Profit (an idea that I am pursuing because of this group). First, I'd love to hear any of your experiences with this model... tips, advice and things to avoid. I've been reading and have been told that Hyros is essential to be able to do this, but haven't been able to find much about alternatives. Are there any out there worth exploring? If Hyros isn't an option for us right now, is it worth just waiting and continuing with our current flat retainer until it is? I also figured being able to do manual checks through the clients CRM would be valuable and even necessary. We could also then trace back-end sales to our efforts on the front-end in acquiring the customer. Open to any and all advice! 🥂

I keep getting told that YouTube ads are different from Facebook and that you can't test. That it takes longer for the algorithm. Is this true? Very frustrating, testing is everything.

So I've just started to run ads for a client of mine and for some reason the clicks just aren't converting into leads. It's a sales training program that goes from ad -> opt-in -> 30min free training/vsl -> application/calendly. I'm planning to rescript the creative because I'm not happy with the current one and think it can flow much better with better quality, be less generic and push the USP harder, but even still I feel like after spending 500 bucks (and getting 600 clicks) more than 2 leads should've opted in. here's an ad: https://youtu.be/_nu4OsFZFZo?feature=shared this is where they land: https://www.growthforum.io/offer/yt-getblueprint any advice? Keep in mind that I've only JUST started running this campaign like 5 days ago, but still, is this normal for campaigns just starting to act like this?

Hey Ad Mens, So few weeks ago I started fully work on my agency (YouTube Ads) And I got two ideas in mind by positioning. Woud like to get some thoughts about it. So basically everyone is positioning their selfs as YouTube Ads guy or Media Buyer. And I got a though to position myself as a YouTube Ads creatives guy, why? These all social media ad managers are so simple to use. It's getting easier everyday. And I heard from one very big guy that he said something like: "What people actually wants is the AD creatives, they don't want media buying, the platforms ad managers is so easy to understand these days. It's a nice positioning. So I though position myself as a YouTube Ads Creative agency, writing the script, guide them to filming, editing, and some media buying. Any thoughts and tips for me?

Hey there! Today, let's talk about something important in the world of sales: High-Ticket Closing. I'm going to explain what it is and why it matters to businesses in simple terms. What's High-Ticket Closing? High-Ticket Closing is a fancy way of saying that some people are really good at selling expensive stuff. It's not about selling small things like toys or candy. Instead, it's about convincing people to buy things that cost a lot, like fancy cars, luxury vacations, or high-end services. Why Is High-Ticket Closing So Important for Businesses? Now, why do companies care so much about High-Ticket Closing? Well, here are some reasons: 1. When businesses sell pricey things, they can make a lot of money from each sale. High-Ticket Closing experts know how to sell these expensive things well, so companies make big profits. 2. High-Ticket Closing isn't like those ads you see on TV. It's more like having a one-on-one chat. These experts talk to you, understand what you want, and help you decide to buy something expensive. It feels special. 3. Imagine you're going to buy a super expensive watch. You'd want to trust the person selling it, right? High-Ticket Closing experts are great at making you trust them, so you feel confident buying expensive stuff. 4. Buying pricey things can take a long time. High-Ticket Closing experts speed things up. They help you decide faster, so you can get what you want without waiting forever. 5. When a company sells expensive stuff, and you're happy with it, they look good. That means more people want to buy from them, and they make even more money. This was just a small introduction to High-Ticket Closing from my side. What are your views on High-Ticket Closing? Your thoughts and ideas are important. Share your views on High-Ticket Closing and how it affects businesses.

Hey Ad Men, I know it's been a minute since I've shared an update from us on everything going on here and with our company... …No, I wasn’t at the hospital… …No, I wasn’t kidnapped… …No, my team didn’t throw a "coup"... I’ve been MIA because sometimes, you need to disappear to make an epic entrance. Just like when your favorite TV show finishes the last season with a banger cliff-hanger.And my disappearance is worth the wait… …I’ve been out of sight because Adspend.com is growing! And my team needed a captain to sail these ‘turbulent’ waters. For starters… - We closed a $75,000 VSL deal with a celebrity. - We hired 3 new team members, all top 1% in their respective fields. - We closed a ‘whale’ client for a LIVE event your friends (maybe even you?) will be attending. And we had to pull a miracle and create a WHOLE MOVIE VSL in just 2 days… (Without ChatGPT. We’re handcraft lovers - what can I say lol) And I’m back with a banger… Because in the next few days, I’ll take you behind the scenes on, perhaps, the most exciting project we’ve ever been a part of… I’m taking you with me, my creative team on a trip to ‘The Aloha State’. So pack your bags: We’re going to Hawaii. And no… We’re not going to Hawaii to have a good time sippin’ Mai Tai’s by the beach 🍹 We’re actually taking a 6-hour and 26-minute flight to the Aloha State to do one thing and one thing only… Record the next most-praised VSL you’ll hear of over the next few months. Now, for legal reasons I can’t say who’s who… But I can tell you this:It involves the beach. It involves a ‘tragedy’. And it involves the Adspend.com quality mark you may be familiar with by now.… So I won’t drag this for long… …But over the next few days, you’ll not only get a straight VSL recording savagery masterclass delivered to you via email… …You’ll also have our branded shooting list guide, pro-tips when recording ads IN PERSON with your clients, and you’ll even have the do’s and don’ts when planning a shoot.

So, this never happened before. I ran ads to a VSL with max conversions, to a custom audience. To test I put $30 as daily budget. And it's spending all my budget in like one hour. Anyone had a similar experience?

You've probably heard this question before, either in a job interview, a sales training, or a movie scene. It's a classic way to test your sales skills and approach, regardless of what you're selling. But how do you answer it? How do you sell a simple, everyday object like a pen? Well, there are many ways to do it, but I'm going to show you the best way. The way legendary copywriters have used to sell millions of dollars worth of products and services with words. The way that will make your prospects beg you to take their money. The way that will make you rich. Are you ready? Here it is: Don't sell the pen. Sell the dream. That's right. You don't Want to focus on the features or benefits of the pen itself. You want to focus on the emotional and experiential benefits that the pen can provide for your prospect. You want to paint a vivid picture of how their life will be better, easier, happier, or more successful with your pen. How do you do that? By asking questions. Lots of questions. Questions that will reveal your prospect's needs, desires, fears, and frustrations. Questions that will make them realize they have a problem that only your pen can solve. For example, you could ask: - What do you use pens for? - How often do you use them? - What kind of pens do you prefer? - What are some of the problems or challenges you face with your current pens? - How do those problems affect your work, your productivity, your creativity, or your mood? - How would you feel if you had a pen that never ran out of ink, never broke down, never smudged, and always wrote smoothly and comfortably? - How would that improve your work, your productivity, your creativity, or your mood? - What would that mean for your career, your business, your income, or your lifestyle? By asking these questions, you're not only gathering valuable information about your prospect's situation and motivation. You're also creating curiosity, interest, desire, and urgency in their mind. You're making them imagine the positive outcomes and emotions that your pen can deliver. You're making them want it.

I'll explain my test bellow. I saw that after 45 days and 1 million views on my ad, my performance strats decline. I'm in France market, so it's actually pretty good to reach 1 million views on one ad. But I also saw that my 1 million ads, reach "regular viewers" 329K viewers on 986K are "regular". 30% of the views of my ads comes from "regular viewers" ? 🧐 So I tried to exclude all people who view one of my ads since the last 30 days on a bunch of cold campaign in my ad account. And my ads starts working again on the exact same audience in this test campaign. My budget is 1.5K€ per day. Do you guys have on opinion on that ? Thanks; Rémy

Hi everyone - I bought the Sony A6400 and Sigma Lens based on Brian's recommendation (and no complaints!) - I also bought the Shure SM7B which is insane. I'm now looking for recommendation please for: - Lighting/softbox - Teleprompter If anyone can help that would be hugely appreciated. Thank you in advance. My goal is to go heavy on YouTube to generate leads, prove out and build my high ticket offer organically, and start to add on ads with Adspend to accelerate this.
