"Well today was a day full of rabbit holes that I had to dig my way out of. I was so distracted, I'd start a task, then think I must go and look that thing up, only to discover some time later that I've fallen into a rabbit hole. I've been messaging my eldest and trying not to shed tears as I hear about his homesickness while in Christchurch. My youngest is feeling lost without his brother and really misses him. I've been dealing with all sorts of bits and pieces throughout the day. I even took my youngest shopping for Pokemon cards for both him and his older brother. It was like he was vaccinated with a gramophone needle - he just wouldn't stop talking. I got lost after the first couple of sentences, talking about Pokemon characters/cards and it just sounds like a different language. But it was just lovely listening to his vibrant chatter!"
