Today I tackled a 10 month old problem
10 months ago I owed a prospective customer an email re: a proposal I had sent her. The tool that I was using that I was also quoting for is very confusing and creating a quotation is more difficult than it should be and that was all my ADHD brain needed to get confused, shutdown and avoid. Not a great combo if you want to get business.
All this time I have had an item on my to-do list to send a follow-up apology but as always happens the longer I left it the bigger the "monster" became and the more I dreaded the eventual rejection. Today after doing my check in the very last bullet read "One visible act: send the thing"! This was my sign and with the help of Sage I drafted an email, cut and pasted into my email and hit send!
I gave her the option to just move on, let me know if I could refer her to someone else or to give me another chance.
I do not have any investment in the option she chose but she deserved a follow up and now that is done! I feel such a sense of relief! PHEW!
