Newly diagnosed
Good Morning all hope you are all good and well?
My Name is Mark aka Dreadz because of my hair lol.
I am 54, I live in Lincolnshire, married to a beautiful wife, tribute singer/DJ.
Now then I have been fighting for my mental health for over 45 years and have always been passed from pillar to post through the decades: (
It was only Monday I had my assessment for ADHD.
I was very apprehensive about it all but it was very good indeed. My assessor was Johan's double from Strictly Come Dancing (UK): p
Anyway, 60 minutes later I came out very light headed all the way home, which was an hour away.
So he is stating and diagnosing hyperactivity ADHD alongside Autism.
I'm still a bit overwhelmed with it all tbh, I have spent the majority of my life alone and no one wanting to know and if it wasn't for my wife it would still be like it today.
My in-laws treat me like I'm the invisible partner too.
I'm not sure what to make of it all and having no one to talk to is hard: (
I just feel it's the norm for me.
