Morning Routine!
This is my current morning routine, assuming I don't have a specific morning appointment:
*meditate
*get in shower
*wash face for 5 minutes with affirmations
*make bed
*put on clothes (I don't have to "get dressed" unless I'm going somewhere but I DO have to put on clothes, meaning not just wear my robe)
*go downstairs- bring phone, journal, and cup
*take vitamins
*prep daily water
*prep protein breakfast
*eat breakfast
*qi gong on patio if possible
*then my "finish line" is going to my car- long story but I read Atomic Habits and knew that I NEEDED something *I* could do EVERY DAY, that depended on NO ONE but myself, that got me literally OUT of the house (to parking lot) etc.
It was my even possible anchor of stability in completely unstable circumstances.
Anyway, that's what I have. I also give myself until noon to complete this.
Now, I am a single mom who sadly spends the vast majority of my time by myself. And taking care of daughter.
So anyway my point is, this routine gives ME a fighting chance to have an identity of my own every day.
It isnt easy on ANY level. But I wanted to share because it is true.
And I figured if any group would understand, it would be this one 🥰
Feel free to share your morning routine below. This is alllll new to me. But I'm realizing like I said that if I want a fighting chance at a FULFILLING life, REGARDLESS of circumstances, then I need to take the reins.
