Is anyone a single parent?
I'm honestly trying to figure out HOW to possibly do all this on my own.
There isn't just the physical logistics. It is also having the ENTIRE mental (and emotional) load, every day.
It is knowing that my body and brain NEED rest, but also knowing that taking that rest means NOTHING gets done during that time (and in fact, MORE messes get made. 😅).
Case in point: came downstairs after forcing myself to rest for a bit. And daughter had left stove on.😬
And there was no way I could have known that (she didn't realize).. so it just reinforces this feeling of ALWAYS having to be hypervigilant but also knowing that being in that state just exacerbates the burnout 😅
Anyway, I'm looking forward to the challenge. I really want to feel like I have a wrangle on my life, so I CAN relax and actually enjoy it.
