Hobbies and interests

It would be interesting to learn what hobbies and interests you have?

I am a keen genealogist and have been researching my family tree for the last 30 years.

I have a passion to recycle and reuse things like old tires and make them into something useful, although the tires are still in the production stage.

I take old plastic bottles and make them into flowers.

I have made portraits using tiny Hama beads (fuse beads (aka Perler, Nabbi, or Hama). And it can take over 25,000 beads to make one portrait.

I have just got into making miniatures.

My husband has ME and he is in a support group, where the members create art and once a year they display their work for 2 weeks. We make things as a family and some of our creations have been displayed in St. Albans Cathedral which has just finished.

Unfortunately I haven’t sold anything but would love to get a commission to make a Hama bead portrait and work out how to frame them and ship them.

I have many other crafts that I want to try but haven’t got around to yet, but there is time!
