Help transitioning careers with ADHD.

Hello new to group. I guess I've been ADHD since a child but was diagnosed 4 years ago. I've been a barber for 20 years and though I like that I can come and go but most times its slow and I cant deal with it. I got into IT 3 years ago and been trying to find work now that I have some certs. Now to switch over has been a scary thought and not sure how to manage this though I'm on meds for it. It's a touch one especially when the IT world can be a chaotic one. Any advice would help especially someone maybe in IT or Project management which I recently received a certification for.
