Family time - birthday - weekend

Here's my check-in for 2026-10-10: How I feel: Happiness 8/10, Energy 7/10, Focus 8/10, Calmness 8/10, Sleep Quality 6/10, Motivation 8/10 What I did: Nap, Stayed Hydrated, Breathwork, Healthy Eating, No Alcohol, No Late Caffeine, Ate Vegetables, Home Cooked Meal, Prayer, Learning, Online Course, Quality Time, Social Event, Active Listening

Ended up taking a nap yesterday afternoon. Then got ready to go to my mom's for my birthday dinner. As I was getting ready, received a message from one of the broker managers that yesterday was the last day to do the certification to be able to sell and continue receiving commissions. This was a little stressful, but I decided if I didn't get it finished in time, then it wasn't meant to be. Maybe I should just stop doing Medicare altogether. Put it aside mentally so I could enjoy spending time with my mom, husband, and younger son.

Had a very nice dinner with Mom, shared my prayer app with her through the Family & Friends program because I can share with up to 5 people. Showed her how it works and showed her the three games that are on the app, too. It was a lovely evening.

Didn't get home until 11:15 pm and had to get to work on the certification. I did not get it finished before midnight, but it did let me finish and it appears that it is considered complete, but I will have to check on that today or possibly Monday. Either way, I did everything that I could do, so that is that. I do feel more motivated to see about completing the other certifications today, if they are still available.

No real morning sun today because it's pretty hazy out today. Not much real sunshine. I still may go sit out on the deck/porch for a bit this morning anyway. The fresh air is always nice. Did do my breathwork today. Not sure how many days in a row that is.

Hope to get lots accomplished today. I did ask if the grandkids could stay over this weekend, but my son still didn't know as of last evening if they could or not, so I'm going on the assumption that they aren't, and if they are able to come over, that will be a wonderful surprise. He did call me to wish me a happy birthday last evening while I was at my mom's which he hasn't done in a few years. Sometimes he sends me a text, sometimes not, for my birthday. I suspect he called because he was on his way home from my granddaughter's cross country practice and she wanted to call. She asked me if she could sing a song to me and I told her sure. She sang the alphabet in Spanish. LOL She tried to tell me it was happy birthday in Spanish, but she had already sung the Spanish alphabet to me the previous week after her older stepsister taught it to her. She's funny!

Hoping this is a relaxing but productive weekend (which will make me feel more relaxed that I'm getting things done. LOL)
