Day 2 Done! Underneath the multitude of masks that I've been wearing, the mask that I've used the most just recently is the empathetic-to-a-fault absorber of everyone else's emotions. I'm exhausted and shattered - I'm as flat as a pancake with no more get up and go. I guess this is what being burnt out feels like! What I loved as a kid (before the masks): was roaming the farm, undertaking different adventures - I had freedom; nobody controlled me. I had laughter and a voice; nobody silenced me.
Friction audit complete and the next step I have to take is to locate one email that has the final edits in it - a quick 2 minute job in theory!
Just when I didn't think we could go too much deeper - I'm rocked by another revelation! Roll on day 3 (if I get out of jury deliberations!).
