💭 Reflection:
" A win that I had today is that I saw an "overreaction" story from my wife, and went looking for her actual reason instead. I didn't get defensive, I asked why and how can we fix it. I easily could have overreacted and did the "Well I'm the head of the house" routine, but that shuts things down quicker. I practiced ahead of time how I was going to address it so it was done tactful, but a point made without either side being upset. My wife can sometimes have some inherited temper issues, I was able to avoid it mostly. I did get an earful why, but it's out and now we know where to go next...on sorting of the laundry. Yes, it sounds silly, but this is what it was about. I'm heading to bed now. I didn't stay off screen time an hour before bed, but I was doing the challenge and Jim's Twin, Skool and the check-in. So, is it really the same as scrolling facebook or instagram? Not something I'm going to try and figure out tonight."
