After working with technology for 40 years (yes, back when it was EDP and before the interwebs and stuff!) I've discovered that no, most people don't have to wrangle a squadron of 16 highly caffeinated squirrels playing quidditch all day and night! And that I've been lied to for over 30 years, when I was first told that girls don't get ADHD, but your daughter has it, and no women don't have it because girls, who don't get it, grow out of it during puberty...

I now simply believe that having our brains wired this way is not a disorder, it's simply a different operating system. It's like being a dolphin living in a world designed by and built for monkeys, and being judged by how well I climb a tree and peel a banana.
