Just completed the ADHD Awakening Assessment and the realisation that floored me: I out-researched a terminal cancer diagnosis when the doctors had given up, yet I tell myself daily I "never have been able to do it." Both can't be true. Turns out I'm not someone who can't follow through. I'm context-dependent - and the conditions that saved my life are the same ones I need to engineer for the rest of it. At 62, that changes everything.
