Hey, so today my youngest daughter was diagnosed with ADHD yay! So that’s me mum (58), daughter (24) and another daughter (21).
My 21 year old came to me afterwards and said it was so overwhelming to finally get a diagnosis. She is also waiting for an autistic diagnosis. I told her to let it sink in and after a few days she might be able to process it.
She was told that meds would be at the pharmacy later on and they were. My older daughter and myself were told that we had to have an ECG and blood tests before meds would be given, so I don’t understand why they would give my younger daughter the meds straight away. They are both from the same parents and there is a heart condition on both sides of the family so I assumed that we would all have to have an ECG, maybe any of the Harmony family can tell me why this is
